Constructed in 1884

In 1884 Cluss and Schulze designed the pedestal for the statue of Martin Luther that was donated by the German Emperor. It is located in front of the Luther Place Memorial Church, also known as the Memorial Church. Cluss had submitted a design for this church a couple of years ago (90), but without success.
